I began drawing when I was in kindergarten. I remember one of my pictures that was on the wall. The entire page was covered with little squares of color about one inch in size. Recently, I was in a doctor's office and there was a framed "work of art" on his wall that looked like my kindergarten picture. I told him about this and he actually got highly defensive. He said "This is a very expensive painting ! "

Beginning at the age of eight, I went to art school once a week. I attended  The Philadelphia College of Art and the Moore Institute of Art until I finished High School.

After an"intermission",during which time I had three children, I began going to art school again when my children were older. I went to The Tyler School of Fine Arts (Temple University) and Allens Lane Art Center.

I had to support my children alone so I became a clothing designer for many years.

I am now retired and I am doing what I love. I am painting with water colors and oils.
